Greenland
Hunt Species:
- Central Barren Ground Caribou
- Muskox
Fall Season (July – September)
Spring Season (March – April)
The Caribou in this specific area of Greenland are free-range and indigenous, and do not cohabitate with the domestic Reindeer of the south. However, the Caribou will not be accepted into the SCI 29 Award. However, they will be accepted into Grand Slam Club Ovis’ Super Slam award as Central Barren Ground Caribou. They will not be accepted into the Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young record book as Central Barren Ground Caribou, as the boundary line does not extend into Greenland for that subspecies.
The Greenland Muskox are also free-range and indigenous, and are accepted into SCI’s 29 Award, Grand Slam Club Ovis’ Super Slam award, and both Boone & Crockett and Pope and Young record books.
